Yesterday I encountered a familiar homeless man who I had given money to before several times. A few months back I started making sure I had five and ten dollar bills to give away.

For exercise I often run/walk downtown, where I encounter a diverse group of people, including the homeless, who often ask for money. We live downtown in a large metropolitan city on the east coast.
